Siegerin Kriegsmarine (German Navy) WW2 Pattern Watch with 21 Jewel Automatic Mechanical Movement

SKU Code: SIEG01

This automatic, self-winding WW2-pattern Siegerin military watch is closely based on the designs supplied to the Kriegsmarine (German Navy) during the Second World War. Featuring a small subsidiary seconds dial, cream dial, and period-correct acrylic crystal, it faithfully recreates the look and feel of the original wartime watches—while discreetly upgrading the mechanics for modern, everyday wear.

One distinctive feature of Kriegsmarine watches was the “K.M.” marking on the dial, denoting naval issue. Unlike watches made for other German military branches, Kriegsmarine models typically featured light-coloured dials (cream or white), improving legibility at sea. This watch follows that tradition exactly.

Faithful to the Original – Improved for Today

This model is closely based on an original WW2 design by Siegerin, one of the key wartime suppliers to the Kriegsmarine. While original examples are now rare and command high prices, this modern version is outwardly almost indistinguishable from the factory’s original WW2 models.

To improve reliability and usability, the original 15-jewel hand-wound movement has been replaced with a 21-jewel automatic movement, which can also be manually wound if required. The result is a watch that preserves its historic appearance while offering the convenience expected from a modern timepiece.

During WW2, Siegerin—alongside Selza—was among the leading manufacturers producing watches for German military forces, including the Luftwaffe, Fallschirmjäger (paratroopers), and Flak (anti-aircraft) units. Unlike Britain’s well-defined “Dirty Dozen,” German military watches were produced by over 100 different manufacturers, making authentic designs from this period especially fascinating—and challenging—to collect.
